The President of SAVALI, Mr. V. Thakar, was awarded the National Award by The President of India Hon. Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam for his outstanding performance in the field of welfare of persons with disabilities.

The President of SAVALI, Mr. V. Thakar, was awarded the Naseoh National Award in great appreciation of his pioneering work & dynamic leadership in promoting the education and training of mentally challenged and cerebral palsy individuals and in recognition of himself and his devoted service as a voluntary worker.

The National Trust (For the Welfare of persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt of India) has awarded SAVALI as the best Residential Care Center in year 2004.
